• About two inches difference in length and width from the Dual chamber Portmanteau. Example of size is that it will fit a good down filled sleeping bag tightly.
  
• Design change on all Portmanteaus (9/1/2006), buckles are placed with double buckle and arrowhead tab as standard. The style shown in the drawing show single buckles, buckle keeps and straps. These are still available as a special order without additional charge
  
• Divider (like dual chamber) optional and located to your specifications $10
• Standard with Two buckle closures. If strap closures are desired, please specify.
  
• Replace Arrowhead buckle end with strap no charge, note in comments on order

Large Portmanteau

about 11" x 21" (it's a little more square than the others but slightly wider and more like 11 x 12 on the end.) it is about the size of a gym bag and is sized to be within airline standards. (44")

Price start $260 to ($490 fully carved)

I also make a travel bag (carpet bagger or Dr. bag style) within airline standards. This has a lock-able closure, handle straps, and Dee rings mounted with padded carry strap. Starts at $350

Note airlines vary on size restrictions, but a total measured size of 45" is a good rule of thumb. Aloha airlines have the smallest dimensions I could find which are; 44" = 8" x 14" x 22"
